Our Work Together May Include:

  • Healthy lifestyle tips: to reduce anxiety and depression as backed by research can be discussed. This can include exercise, healthy eating, specific supplements and food, time in nature and social interaction.
  • Physical health Integration: Understanding the mind-body connection, we explore how lifestyle factors like nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management impact your mental health. Referrals to trusted integrative providers are available when needed. Collaboration with integrative health providers is also offered during your treatment process.
  • Medication education and collaboration: While I am not a prescribing physician, I can provide education on the potential risks and benefits of medication and give referrals to psychiatric providers, if needed. Collaboration with a psychiatric provider during your treatment process is offered.
  • Symptom Awareness and Regulation:  Learn to recognize triggers and bodily sensations associated with your symptoms, develop emotional regulation strategies, and track patterns to know when increased self-care is needed. Emotional regulation techniques can be discussed and tried. Because symptoms relief does matter. I work with you to find one that might resonate with you. This is helpful especially initially in therapy, in my experience, clients appreciate these practical strategies they can implement until we are able to explore and address underlying causes for anxiety for lasting relief.
  • Nature Therapy Spending intentional time in nature has profound healing benefits. We may incorporate nature-based mindfulness exercises, or discuss ways to deepen your connection with the natural world.
